Founded in November 1996, we are very proud of the fact that Fish Tales Gourmet Seafood Market has been consistently rated one of the premiere fresh seafood stores in all of New York City. Every day, we're up at 2am and personally selecting the freshest and highest quality of fish available for our customers, at the Fulton Fish Market.
We believe that this dedication and attention to detail, along with our knowledgeable and friendly staff, is the main reason why the Zagat Marketplace Survey has consistenly rated us "extraordinary" to "perfection" in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

But, offering great seafood is not our only mission. We're a neighborhood store, that over the years has built many close bonds and friendships with our customers, something we cherish dearly. Whether it's educating the customer, answering questions about fish, or helping them with recipes to prepare their dinner, customer satisfaction is what we're all about.

If you're looking for a particular fish, just ask, we'll get it for you. Throwing a party? We'll make the most spectacular platters for your guests. Tired at the end of a long day? Try our prepared foods: we have over twenty wonderful selections, and that doesn't include our delicious soups. All cooking is personally done on premises by owner and staff daily!
